What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard created by Anthropic that lets AI agents connect to external systems and work with live data. Instead of copying and pasting context into a chat window, your AI tool can query ScopeStack directly — getting current information, creating records, and taking action on your behalf.

Claude, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Cursor, and a growing list of AI tools already support MCP. ScopeStack's MCP server is available to all customers today — no add-on required.

MCP permissions pass through your ScopeStack user role, so your AI only has access to what you have access to. For agent or automation use cases, create a dedicated service account with a scoped role.
