If you run ConnectWise and you're looking for a ConnectWise Sell alternative, you may not need to replace anything. ConnectWise CPQ, the product formerly called Sell, is built for product quoting: distributor pricing, hardware and licensing, and e-orders through ConnectWise PSA. ScopeStack is built for the services side of the same deal: scoping the labor, pricing it by role and producing the SOW. Several of our customers run both.
TL;DR
The product half of a deal is well served inside ConnectWise. The services half usually isn't. Someone has to work out what the migration, deployment or assessment will take. Which tasks? How many hours, and which roles? What's out of scope? In a lot of shops that lives in an architect's head, a spreadsheet, or a Word template every rep edits a little differently.
Then the scope gets typed into the proposal and typed again into the PSA once the deal closes. Approvals happen over email.
The client gets two documents today: CPQ's product quote and ScopeStack's SOW. If you need the services scope written into a CPQ quote automatically, raise it on a call before you buy. We don't integrate with ConnectWise CPQ.

ConnectWise says CPQ lets you "pull and compare pricing from multiple distribution partners, your pricing tables, and customer catalogs in one place," then "place e-orders through your preferred distributor, including automated opportunity conversions." We don't do distributor pricing at all. If product quoting is your whole problem, keep CPQ and stop reading here.
CPQ sends "notifications to renew an agreement, extend an expired warranty, or upgrade aging equipment." That's a job we don't try to do.
Our services CPQ starts from a reusable service catalog with dependency mapping. Rate cards price hours by role, and margin rules check the deal before anyone sends it. The SOW is generated from that scope.
ConnectWise's product page doesn't describe effort estimation, hours by role or dependencies between tasks. For an SOW, those are the parts that decide whether the project makes money.
Centre Technologies standardized services quoting across five business units and scaled to 30 SOWs per architect per month.
Both tools feed the PSA. CPQ converts opportunities and places e-orders. We create the project in ConnectWise PSA with its tasks, phases and budgets already set up when a quote is approved, so delivery starts from what sales sold. If your pain is retyping hours into projects, that's the handoff to look at. We do the same for Autotask.
Bring a real deal and we'll scope it with you.
Get a demoOur MCP server lets agents such as Claude create projects and build scopes from your own catalog, with the same permissions as the user who connected them. ConnectWise's CPQ product page doesn't describe an agent connection.
CPQ offers "custom templates, real-time pricing integrations, online quote delivery, and e-signature." We send the SOW for signature through your own DocuSign account, and route projects to approval when they cross a revenue, gross profit or cost threshold you set.
We use credit-based pricing with unlimited users and no per-seat fees. Credits are consumed only when a project is created, so adding architects or sales reps doesn't add cost. Some integrations are priced separately. Current rates are on the pricing page. ConnectWise sells CPQ on its own pricing, so check it with them.
Keep ConnectWise CPQ alone if your quotes are mostly firewalls, laptops and license renewals, and services are a line or two of fixed labor.
Add ScopeStack if you run professional services at an MSP or VAR, projects end in an SOW, and your architects rebuild the same scopes from scratch or retype them into the PSA.

Yes. ConnectWise renamed Sell to ConnectWise CPQ. Older reviews and forum threads still use the Sell name.
Does ScopeStack integrate with ConnectWise?ScopeStack has a native ConnectWise PSA integration that creates the project when a quote is approved. It does not integrate with ConnectWise CPQ.
Can I keep ConnectWise CPQ and add ScopeStack?Yes, and several of our customers do. CPQ keeps product quotes and distributor orders. ScopeStack handles the services scope, pricing and SOW.
Will my client get one proposal or two?Two today: the product quote from CPQ and the SOW from ScopeStack. The tools don't integrate with each other.
Does ScopeStack do distributor pricing? No. For hardware and licensing with live distributor pricing, use a product CPQ like ConnectWise's.
Is ScopeStack priced per user? No. We use credits with unlimited users, and credits are consumed only when a project is created.
ScopeStack publishes this page. ConnectWise CPQ details are quoted from connectwise.com and the ConnectWise Marketplace as of September 2026. Where their site doesn't cover something, the table says so.
