ScopeStack vs DealHub: A DealHub Alternative for IT Services

ScopeStack is the better fit if your team scopes and prices IT services work. That work ends in a statement of work and a project in ConnectWise or Autotask. DealHub is the better fit if you run a SaaS or subscription business. It takes a deal from quote to contract to billing in one place. The real difference is what each tool sets up. ScopeStack sets up a services job: tasks, hours, roles and dependencies. DealHub sets up a deal: pricing models, bundles and renewal terms.

TL;DR

  • ScopeStack wins on services scoping, SOW generation and handoff into ConnectWise PSA or Autotask.
  • DealHub wins on guided selling, subscription pricing and bundles, and on built-in eSign.
  • Both have approval workflows and both connect AI agents through MCP, pointed at different data.
  • Neither is a distributor-pricing tool for hardware. MSPs that quote hardware keep a product CPQ for that.
  • Computacenter cut scoping time by up to 75% after implementing ScopeStack.

Why services teams compare ScopeStack and DealHub

Presales teams at MSPs, VARs and IT consultancies look at CPQ when quoting is slow and uneven. The shortlists mix two kinds of tools. Revenue platforms like DealHub price subscriptions, bundles and usage. Services CPQ like ScopeStack prices the labor behind a project.

Your reps are working out what a migration or a deployment will take. Which tasks? How many hours, by role? What depends on what, and what stays out of scope? That work needs a home before anyone prices it.

Services scoping: ScopeStack wins

Our services CPQ starts from a reusable service catalog with dependency mapping. An architect scoping a cloud migration starts from your standard language and effort. Rate cards price the hours by role. Pricing rules add volume discounts and protect margin.

Their CPQ product page describes guided quote configuration and support for "usage-based, tiered, and fixed pricing models." We didn't find level of effort, hours by role or dependencies between workstreams on it. If you deliver a statement of work, those parts decide whether the project makes money.

Centre Technologies standardized services quoting across five business units and scaled to 30 SOWs per architect per month.

Guided selling: DealHub wins

Their product page leads with guided quote configuration, and DealRoom lets reps send buyers a digital sales proposal they can work through together. For a team selling several product lines, that gives every rep the same path through a deal.

Our Sales App runs a survey during discovery, and the answers recommend services and quantities from your catalog. That's the right tool for scoping a services project. It's narrower than guided selling across a whole product line.

Subscription and bundle pricing: DealHub wins

DealHub supports usage-based, tiered and fixed pricing. It also handles bundles, discounts, renewals and co-terminations. That fits a company whose revenue comes from subscriptions.

Our pricing rules are built around services: rates by role, volume discounts and margin checks on labor. A pure services practice won't miss the subscription logic.

PSA handoff: ScopeStack wins

We sit upstream of the PSA, with native integrations for ConnectWise PSA and Autotask. When a quote is approved, we create the project in ConnectWise PSA or Autotask with its tasks already set up, so nobody re-keys hours.

Their integration list includes Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot and NetSuite. We didn't find ConnectWise, Autotask or any PSA on its CPQ, pricing, AI or integration pages. For an MSP, the PSA is where delivery runs.

AI agents: Both, pointed at different data

DealHub lists a native MCP, a natural language quoting agent and AI pricing optimization. Its FAQ says the AI "analyzes historical deal data" to recommend price tiers or discounts.

Our MCP server lets agents such as Claude create projects and build scopes from your own service catalog. Agents get the same permissions as the user who connected them. If you want an agent to draft a first-pass services scope, look at what data each MCP exposes.

Approvals and e-signature

Approvals are a tie. We route a project to approval when it crosses a revenue, gross profit or cost threshold you set, and the project locks while it's in review. They have automated approval workflows.

E-signature goes to DealHub, because eSign is built in. We send the SOW for signature through your own DocuSign account.

Pricing

We use credit-based pricing with unlimited users and no per-seat fees. Credits are consumed only when a project is created, so adding reps doesn't add cost. Some integrations are priced separately. Current rates are on the pricing page.

Their pricing page lists Growth and Scale plans without prices. Ask them for a quote and how it scales with users.

Final verdict: Which DealHub alternative fits your team

Choose ScopeStack if you run professional services at an MSP, VAR or solution provider, most deals end in an SOW, and a win only counts once the scope is a project in the PSA without retyping.

Choose DealHub if you run revenue operations at a SaaS or subscription company, and services are one line in a bigger quote that has to flow to billing.

FAQ

Is ScopeStack or DealHub better for an MSP?

ScopeStack, if most of your deals are project services that end in an SOW and a PSA project. DealHub fits a SaaS or subscription business that needs quote-to-billing in one platform.

Does DealHub integrate with ConnectWise or Autotask?

We didn't find ConnectWise, Autotask or a PSA on their product, pricing, AI or integration pages. It lists Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot and NetSuite. ScopeStack creates projects in ConnectWise PSA and Autotask when a quote is approved.

Does DealHub do distributor pricing for hardware?

We didn't find distributor pricing on DealHub's pages, and ScopeStack doesn't do it either. Several of our customers keep ConnectWise CPQ for hardware and use ScopeStack for services.

What is the difference between CPQ and services CPQ?

Sales CPQ configures products, bundles and subscriptions. Services CPQ configures the engagement itself, pricing it by effort, roles and scope, then generates the statement of work from that data.

Can an AI agent build a scope in ScopeStack?

Yes. ScopeStack's MCP server lets agents such as Claude create projects and build scopes from your service catalog. Agents get the same permissions as the user who connected them. If your account uses approval steps, a person approves before the scope goes out.

Is ScopeStack priced per user?

No. ScopeStack uses credits with unlimited users, and credits are consumed only when a project is created.

How we built this comparison

ScopeStack publishes this page. DealHub details come from DealHub's product, pricing and AI pages as of September 2026. Where we didn't find something on their site, we say so.
